#ElectroluxLive Cook-off Recap

Remember when I posted about the #ElectroluxLive Cook-off challenge that was going to be taking place on Food52's website on November 6th? Well, It happened and it was great! I got to be a part of this amazing live event where 3 Chefs, Phoebe Lapine, Jennifer Perillo, and Camille Becerra, all competed by cooking an amazing cauliflower dish using gas, electric and induction cooking methods! I, personally am a gas stove user and have always cooked on a gas stove. I was, however, extremely amazed at the induction cooking and how incredibly fast it was! Did you know that induction cooktops can bring water to a boil in only 90 seconds? Seriously?? Plus, they're perfect for anyone with kids because they stay cool to the touch! Love that!

During the cook-off, viewers were able to join in using twitter and respond to the hosts, Amanda and Merrill and any questions they asked! We got to see all 3 of the chefs put their best effort forth, using the 3 different types of cooktops and we even got to choose the winner! All of the ending cauliflower dishes looked good enough to eat, but Camille Becerra's dish cooked with gas was by far the best presentation!

All I have to say about the event was that it was a lot of fun to participate and see all of the different cooking methods used at the same time! I would absolutely love to have an Electrolux Induction Cooktop for my kitchen to use in all of my recipe development! I know it would make my food look and taste amazing... and it would save me a ton of time! Plus, I know you all would love to read my review of the Elextrolux Induction Cooktop and see how it works, right?! ;)

If you didn't get a chance to see the cook-off live, make sure you check it out here.
